Join us for a vibrant and meaningful Kwanzaa celebration in collaboration with ACSA! Kwanzaa, celebrated from December 26 to January 1, honors African heritage and culture. Created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga, this week-long event focuses on seven core principles known as the Nguzo Saba, which promote unity, self-determination, collective work, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.

Our celebration begins with an engaging presentation on the history and significance of Kwanzaa, providing insight into its cultural roots and contemporary relevance. We will then light the seven candles of the kinara, each representing one of the principles. The evening will conclude with a festive feast featuring delicious soul food and other dishes, fostering community and togetherness.

Come celebrate Kwanzaa with us, honoring tradition, sharing stories, and enjoying a wonderful meal!
