DCA Mission Statement
The Denison Community Association's mission is to respond to social and environmental needs by building relationships with those around us while promoting reciprocal learning, personal growth, and life-long commitment to community, direct service, and responsible stewardship. This includes actively recruiting students for the purpose of serving the community.

Best Buddies Mission Statement
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment,
leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Membership Benefits
Individuals interested in being matched in a one-to-one friendship will participate in monthly meet and greet events where they can find someone both the matches are most comfortable with. All members of the chapter will be responsible for completing the Best Buddies Member Training annually at the start of the academic year.

Student members will benefit from learning about the IDD community, accessibility, and partnerships with the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Best Buddies Ohio staff.
