Join Cara Bodary ’24, Denison Psychology alum and current Research Assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, for a conversation about her path from Denison to a career in psychological research.

Cara will share insight into her experience applying for research assistant positions, the work she is currently doing at Nationwide Children’s, and her aspirations to pursue a PhD. She’ll also reflect on how her experiences as a Psychology major and research assistant at Denison helped prepare her for her current role.

Cara currently works with the Hughes Team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital on the Exploratory Project 2 – Intensive Crisis Intervention study, where her research interests include better understanding the precipitating factors of suicide and effective methods of strengthening emotional regulation.

Students interested in psychology, research, graduate school, or careers in behavioral and mental health research are encouraged to attend!
