Mission The Denison Community Association's mission is to respond to social and environmental needs by building relationships with those around us while promoting reciprocal learning, personal growth, and life-long commitment to community, direct service, and responsible stewardship. This includes actively recruiting students for the purpose of serving the community. Our committee connects students to the humane society in Licking County and the Licking County Dog Warden, where we walk dogs, sit with cats, clean animal shelters, clean the facility, provide any other needs of the organization, and de-stress from our busy lives by caring for animals in need of our help.
Membership BenefitsStudents benefit from membership by being able to work with community partners to care for animals in Licking County. Students work to increase animal rights, and find connection with other like minded students. Students de-stress by spending time with animals at community animal shelters. Students benefit from experiencing how non-profit agencies work in the Licking County community.
