Dear chapter officers,
It has been an exciting first three weeks of the fall semester. We have enjoyed seeing chapter members tabling for the involvement fair, philanthropic events, and more. It has been great to meet with chapter presidents over the past few weeks to hear what your goals and plans are for your chapters and councils - and we can't wait to see how you work towards accomplishing those goals. As we head into week four, we want to provide you with some additional resources that will help you lead your chapters to the next level.
In this newsletter you will find information and links to help you plan for the upcoming month. Please note the attendance requirements for some of the events listed below. Additionally, the Campus Organization newsletter is linked below with inforamtion regarding hazing prevention week events and programs.
Finally, please download and save the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life policy and procedures document. Officers should become familiar with this document.
We look forward to seeing you all soon!
Fraternally,
Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life Staff

Directing your efforts toward the middl eand understanding what makes them different, what gets them engaged, and what they can contribute -- may solve your campus organizations' most pressing leadership challenges.
*This program is an SOE approved event for leadership - be sure to check in at the door for attendance credit towards SOE.
Sara Lowery: Not us Not This Time
Sunday, September 24 at 7:00pm - Slayter Auditorium
This is not your typical hazing prevention. We can review and define hazing, educate our chapter leaders, but this doesn't seem to be enough. This session approaches hazing prevention by challenging students to create a sense of brotherhood / sisterhood without the hazing drama.
*This program is a required event for 50% of chapter members; it will also count towards SOE harm reduction requirements and students should check in at the door.
