To aid St. Vincent Haven in their mission to better provide assistance for the adult homeless male population in the surrounding area. To provide the opportunity for Denison community members to expand their experiences to include of section of the population they might not regularly interact with. And to provide Denison community members the opportunity to learn meal preparation and provide another space to serve the community while building relationships.
The opportunity to meet once a month and cook a meal for residents of the Haven. This is an opportunity to practice cooking skills, build relationships, and do some service on campus. I'll also work with members to provide opportunities to individually volunteer at St. Vincent Haven if they so desire.
