Summer Roll Workshop

Summer Roll is a traditional Asian food that is well-known for its health benefit and because of its easy-to-make. Summer Roll consists of various proteins, vermicelli, and vegetables wrapped in a rice paper and served with a sauce. This traditional food is important to Vietnamese culture and can be shared among many people and diversities. The food and name itself "summer rolls" has historical ties to Vietnamese immigration to the US post Vietnam War, as the name "summer roll" was popularized by some Vietnamese American restaurants for easier marketing and as a seasonal play on the term "spring roll".
