Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where Denisonians of all skill levels can develop and enhance their dance skills, engage in social and competitive dance experiences, and build lasting connections with fellow members. Our club is committed to promoting the joy of ballroom dancing, encouraging artistic expression, and fostering personal growth through the art and sport of dance.
Members have access to workshops and lessons that enhance dance skills, engage in a physically active and enjoyable forms of exercise, and build lasting friendships within a diverse and inclusive community. Members may also enjoy competition and performance opportunities, gaining valuable stage experience and setting goals for skill improvement. Additionally, exposure to various dance styles promotes cultural appreciation, and the stress-relieving and mood-enhancing aspects of dance contribute to overall mental well-being. Ultimately, members can receive priority when it comes to opportunities with limited funding, such as dance shoes and costumes, registering to compete, and participating in professional led workshops.
