At Denison University, we believe that involvement fosters community. All of our student organizations are open to every student, regardless of background, interests, or experience. From constitution: The mission of DCS has three parts: 1. To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas in chemistry 2. To provide educational outreach to the Granville and surrounding areas 3. To establish a community within the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry through programming. Our events aim to build and maintain a community within the chemistry and biochemistry department and within the sciences at Denison. Our community outreach aims to introduce children to the excitement of scientific discovery and to foster an interest in chemistry and science.
