Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead is a time to honor loved ones who no longer walk this Earth. Día de Muertos is a cherished tradition in many countries where we remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed. Central to the Mexican tradition is the creation of the ofrenda (altar) — adorned with photos, candles, flowers, and meaningful items that honor our departed loved ones. We invite families and individuals to take part in the event. See beautiful altars curated by BLASS, La Fuerza, Spiritual Life Center, Center for Belonging & Inclusion, and Denison Libraries to invite our loved ones back for one night of celebrating life.

We will gather at Spiritual Life Center at 4:30 PM and begin our walking tour at 4:45 PM to visit Ofrendas located in:
-Spiritual Life Center
-The Center for Belonging and Inclusion
-Denison Libraries
-La Fuerza Latina

The walking tour will end at La Fuerza Latina where we will continue our celebration. Expect community and treats at every stop! Participants will be entered in a raffle and will be able to win a prize! Everyone is welcome!
Food Provided (Hot chocolate, pan de muerto, and more! )
