Shopping Shuttles

  • Q: Can students take the shuttles one way?

    A: No, students must return on the same shuttle they took to the shopping destination.

  • Q: If a student is done shopping early, can they take an Uber back to campus?

    A: No, they must return on the shuttle. If a student does not leave or return on a shuttle, they may not be able to ride the shuttles moving forward.

  • Q: What time does the shuttle leave to return back to campus?

    A: The time listed on the event is approximately when drivers will be return back to campus.

  • Q: Can a student bring a friend/family member on the shuttle?

    A: No, our shopping shuttles are for current Denison students only.

  • Q: I see the shuttle listed on What to DU but can’t register yet! When does registration open?

    A: Tuesday Shuttles: The Friday before at 10 AM Eastern Time;

    Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Shuttles: The Monday before at 10 AM Eastern Time.

  • Q: How many shopping bags can a student bring back on the shuttle?

    A: Large purchased items must be able to fit in the cargo area of the van. Students must be able to carry smaller purchased items with them for the duration of the trip if there is not room in the cargo bay. We are not able to accommodate extra trips in order to transport large items.

  • Q: Can we offer additional shuttles outside of the listed times?

    A: We are not able to accommodate additional shuttle requests. All shuttle options are listed in WhattoDU at the start of the semester. Additional transportation options outside of our shuttle times can be found here.

  • Q: The weather is looking bad, will the shuttle be canceled?

    A: Denison follows local guidelines for safe road travel. If the county reaches a level 2 or higher, we will cancel our shuttles. For all other weather conditions, we will communicate with the driver to ensure safety and comfortability in driving the shuttle to make a decision on cancelling for the day. All decisions will be communicated to the students as soon as possible.
