The Big Red Express is an off-campus experience provided by the Community Leadership and Involvement Center. The shuttles listed on What to DU are the only shopping/experience shuttles we offer during the semester. We are unable to accommodate any requests for additional shuttles.
Shuttles are for current Denison students only.
Each shuttle can accommodate 11 students. We are not able to take more than 11 students on the shuttles (passengers are prohibited from riding in the cargo bay of the vans).
Students who register for the shuttles are expected to arrive at P1 of the parking garage no later than the departure time listed on What to DU. Any student who does not arrive by the listed time will forfeit their spot on the shuttle.
Shuttle spots are available on a first come first serve basis. If spots become available, students on the waitlist will be able to board in the order they appear on said waitlist.
Large purchased items must be able to fit in the cargo area of the van. Students must be able to carry smaller purchased items with them for the duration of the trip if there is not room in the cargo bay. We are not able to accommodate extra trips in order to transport large items.
Students are expected to return on the same shuttle that they arrived on. No exceptions will be made.
Students must return to the shuttle at the departure time given by the shuttle driver. Any student who has delayed the departure for any reason (ie. not returning at the designated time, making additional stops to pick up items left at a store, etc.) will no longer be able to ride the shuttles.
